Our Degree Program lasts eight semesters, where the first two years (I-IV Semester) correspond to the Common Plan of the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. From the third year (V Semester), the chairs will correspond to the specific courses of the Program.
The coursework plan of our Bachelor’s Degree is focused on meeting the previously specified objectives. Even though the General Astronomy course is not part of the current course of the career, it is recommended that students potentially interested in our Bachelor’s Degree enroll in this course during the Common Plan.
Students potentially interested in pursuing a postgraduate degree in Astronomy are recommended to enroll in Directed Research I and II courses.
The Department of Astronomy has an open policy where courses from other FCFM careers could be considered as possible electives for the Bachelor of Science, mention in Astronomy, subject to the approval of the Teaching Technical Committee.
