Baryon Acoustic Oscillations (BAO) play a crucial role in testing the internal consistency of the ΛCDM model and its extensions. In this talk, I will explore how BAO measurements can be used to perform cosmological consistency tests, highlighting their role in probing tensions and deviations from standard assumptions. Additionally, I will discuss the robustness of these tests by incorporating the latest DESI data, assessing their sensitivity to systematics and model dependencies.
